Database Manager on August 17th, 2012:

Updated through online information from Noel Channnon. -- Organ was removed August 2012 to be enlarged and installed in Messiah Lutheran Church Seattle by Rene Marceau Pipe Organs. I helped his crew remove it and relocate to his shop in Ballard. Installation will be sometime after Easter 2013. Will be 25 ranks, rear balcony.

Database Manager on July 17th, 2010:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- From an examination of the organ December 16, 1992 it's clear this organ is made from a compilation of parts. The main windchest is Estey, Opus 1828, 1920 from the James P. Duthie residence in Seattle. It was broken-up for parts and one chest plus a rebuilt Everett 'Orgatron' console was installed by Balcom and Vaughan at Calvary Baptist in Tacoma, Washington in 1941. That organ was rebuilt again by Balcom and Vaughan in 1959 as their Opus 665. The organ was replaced in Tacoma in the 1960's by a Conn/Tellers, at which time it was acquired by Don Gorman, rebuilt with other pipework added, and given to Gonzaga as a practice organ. The Great 2' Offen Flote is actualy a 2' Fifteenth. The Swell 8' Gamba is from a style 23 Kimball. The Swell 8' Gamba Celeste is actually a Salicional of unknown provenance. The Swell 2-2/3' Rohr Nasat is made from two different makes of stopped wood pipes; and two different makes of open metal trebles.
