Jeff Scofield on May 13th, 2021:
An update from Ernie Hadley, Jr., former Director of Music: The organ has fallen into significant disrepair and became relatively unplayable. Though the pipes, chests, and blower all remain in place, they are not currently in use. In the summer of 2020, a 4 manual Viscount digital instrument was purchased and installed. This is the instrument used at the Cathedral every week. The Diocese of Ogdensburg has expressed the hope that the pipe organ can one day be properly repaired and integrated with the Viscount as a hybrid pipe/digital instrument.
