First used for church on Sunday, 26 April 1891. Dedicated in "Grand Concert" 18 May 1891. From The News-Journal (Lancaster, PA) 28 April 1891:
St. Joseph's New Organ. The new organ for St. Joseph's church has been put up, and was tried on Sunday. A grand concert will be given on the evening of Whit Monday, May 18. Prof. Henry Eyer Browne, of Talmage's church, Brooklyn, and Prof. De Bold, also of Brooklyn, will take part in the concert. A grand vocal concert will also be given, in which a number of fine soprano, tenor, first and second bass voices will participate.

Restored 2004 by Columbia Organ Works. Facade Pipes re-stenciled to original colors and patterns. Chests retabled, multiple pipe repairs, reeds restored.

Center rear gallery. Damaged when electronic organ installed c. 1965 (pipes crushed, action damaged). Restored in 1983 by J. R. McFarland. Wood 16' Trombone added to Pedal. Ded. 14 Jul 1985 by Karl E. Moyer. Pneumatic stop and combination action.
