Josh Sellner on June 12th, 2026:

This organ according to the specification given here was completely removed in June 2026 for rebuilding and rewiring by the Moe Pipe Organ Co. The 1947 chambers were completely removed to facilitate plaster repair and repainting as part of a larger redecorating project in the church. Estimated completion of the rebuilt organ is Easter 2028. The rebuild will include the installation of vintage casework and facades. Original builder was Schuelke, not Schaefer. This information comes from a local newspaper article from 1907 giving Schuelke’s name.
