Identified through on-line information from Joshua McClure. -- The organ was originally built for Thorne Hall located on Northwestern University's law campus in Chicago, IL. The building was demolished for more classroom space in the early 80's and the organ was bought at auction by the church in 1984. Removed by the congregation, insured and stored in an area barn it was later installed in the church and dedicated in 1988. The organ was updated from pneumatic operation to digital computer in 1996 by G.M. Buck organ company of Grand Rapids, MI. The current curator (since 2005) has been Erickson, Christian and Associates of Glen Ellyn (Dean Christian).
