Ca. 1996, Marceau & Associates built a new expressive case for the organ. No tonal changes were made. The new free-standing case was installed further towards the back of the chapel, still along the left wall.

This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ.
-- This is the crypt chapel organ, beneath the Basilica. The organ was originally installed in a chamber adjacent to the console on the left side of the chapel, and was non-expressive. In the mid 1990's, the Marceau firm of Portland, Oregon built a case for the organ. It was housed for a short time upstairs in the Basilica before being re-installed back in the crypt chapel.
