From the History page of the church website, "In 1936, the pipe organ was presented to the church by J. Chambers Goshorn and was installed."
This entry represents the installation of a used organ. Identified through information from Fred Shetler: My cousin and organist John Walker's father was pastor of this church, and his mother was the organist. He remembers it also being a Hook & Hastings. He tells me in e-mail that what story he remembers it was originally located in Falling Springs Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg, PA. before being re-located to Spring Run, PA. - not sure of the date. Some years ago it was converted to electric action -- again, not real sure of the date. That was a really nicely voiced H & H and John agrees. The Hook & Hastings was taken out of the church several years ago. [Editor-JS: in 2011].
