Paul R. Marchesano on October 20th, 2022:

The Great Op. Diap. 16' has six stopped wood basses; the Great 8' string, listed in the contract as a "Salicional , " is marked "Gamba" on the pipes, and the missing label on the stopknob would more properly read "Viola da Gamba"; the Flute d'Amour 4' is of stopped wood with bored stoppers and 22 open metal trebles; and the Mixture is 15-19-22. The Swell Quintadena 8' is of capped metal, as is the low octave of the Viola 8'; the Flauto Traverso 4' is an open wood melodia with 9 open metal trebles. -- 1996 OHS Handbook

Database Manager on June 26th, 2009:

Updated through online information from George Nelson. -- Building damaged during severe thunder storm in 2004 when landmark stone tower and steeple fell through the sanctuary roof. Organ was not damaged, only dirtied. It was removed by Colin Walsh and later reinstalled. I do not know what work was done other than removal, cleaning & reinstallation.
