E-mail from Tim Wilson -- The facade pipes are from 1927 Schantz & Sons Opus 5, Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Akron, Ohio.

"It was a beautiful building...big huge barrel ceiling. One thing I wish we would have had time to rescue was the antiphonal/echo organ. The day we were there, you had to shimmy up a ladder in the front of the church, walk between the roof and the sanctuary ceiling on a small catwalk to get back to the antiphonal/echo - very narrow and creepy. Probably about 5 to 7 ranks...chimes, etc. I would assume it went down with the building. The hospital beside the church purchased the property and razed the building. I actually have a picture of the facade at the old church.
