Paul R. Marchesano on July 8th, 2026:

from church history page:
"The Third Methodist Episcopal Church of Sodus was incorporated June 26, 1838...The membership growth of the church demanded a larger building so that in 1889 a new brick building was erected on the same site. The following year a strong windstorm destroyed the steeple , its bell and damaged the rest of the tower. The present bell was installed in 1893.

Our beautiful Moller pipe organ was proudly installed in 1910. In 1950 during renovations, the chancel was redesigned and the organ was moved to its present position. The 1950’s also saw the addition of Sunday School rooms and by 1963 the major renovations had been completed."

Database Manager on October 4th, 2016:

The contract was for releathering, rebuilding and relocation to a new organ chamber for 1910 Moller Op. 1122, with a new console.
