This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by T. Daniel Hancock, using information found in The American Organist, May 2013.
-- Opus 164 replaces an 1879 Roosevelt which had been subsequently rebuilt at least two times and converted to electro-pneumatic action, and is one of two instruments installed by Schoenstein in 2013. Opus 164 is a three-manual, 35-rank gallery instrument, and is complemented by Opus 163, a two-manual, 14-rank sanctuary organ; the latter is operable from the three manual console in the gallery, but also has its own dedicated two-manual console in the sanctuary.
