Database Manager on August 6th, 2014:
Updated through online information from William Dunklin. -- To clarify this organ's history: two buildings on Maryville College's campus were torn down at the same time, Wilson Chapel and the Recital Hall. Both buildings had Holtkamp organs. This organ was originally built for the Recital Hall. When that building was torn down, the organ was removed, rebuilt and installed in the new Clayton Performing Arts Center. The Wilson Chapel organ, a Moller extensively rebuilt and expanded by Holtkamp, was sold. The pedal Bourdon from the Wilson Chapel organ (a Holtkamp-revoiced Moller rank) was used to replace the missing rank from this organ, though it is slightly larger in scale than the original.

Database Manager on July 29th, 2014:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- No tonal changes were made to the organ. A new Swell enclosure had to be made. The only mechanical change was a new solid state relay and combination action by Musicom. While the organ was in storage, several ranks disappeared and had to be replaced. These were: Swell Cornet III, Gemshorn 4, the entire Positive (8,4,2, 1-1/3 III), and the Pedal 16' Subbass. New pipework was acquired from Holtkamp.

Database Manager on July 1st, 2014:
Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, based on personal knowledge of the organ. --
