Jim Stettner on September 16th, 2025:
From the *Cinema Treasures* website, "The Rialto Theatre was opened on October 16, 1920. It replaced the Lyric Theatre which was adjacent to the new Rialto Theatre. The Lyric Theatre had been operating as a movie theatre since at least 1914." "The Rialto Theatre was remodeled in an Art Deco style in 1939, reopening with Clark Gable in “Gone with the Wind”. The Rialto Theatre was closed in 1975. It stood vacant and unused for many years. In 1988 it was demolished with plans to turn the site into a parking lot."
