This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Louis Playford, using information found in Augusta Chronicle. August 28, 1963. "AC gets $6300 pipe organ.".
-- Described as having 372 pipes. Claimed to have pipework of high tin content. Mahogany. On the second floor of the music building. Article states that the organ was built in Holland and assembled by an American firm. This institution, formerly the Junior College of Augusta, was later called Augusta State University, and is now known as Georgia Regents University.
