This is a rebuild and expansion of the church's 2-manual Casavant Frères Ltée. (Opus 1592, 1938) instrument. A used 3-rank unit organ was setup in the front east triforium to provide music during the time Casavant components were removed to the Parsons shop for rebuilding. The pastor was so impressed by the utility of this little organ that he requested Parsons to change the scope of the project to include this organ as a choir division in the rebuilt instrument. Source=9/19/2025 conversation with Ric Parsons. Great, Swell and Pedal divisions speak from behind the freestanding east end altar. The mammoth building has no west end Grand Orgue, as the congregation lacked money during the Depression to build such a thing. The Parsons rebuild remedies this defect by expanding what is effectively an orgue de chœur into an instrument that can solo against a fully symphony orchestra. (The Syracuse Orchestra presented their 2025 season opener in the church.)
