"The organ was the gift of the class of '74 in commemoration of their quarter century reunion. It was built by George S. Hutchings & Co., of Boston, being placed in the space provided for it in the chapel. The casing is of walnut with displayed pipes treated in dull Roman gold." The Lafayette, Jan. 19, 1900.
