Jim Stettner on June 1st, 2021:
Updated through online informatipn from William T. Van Pelt. -- This organ was removed from the Virginia church by the Organ Clearing House and stored in the gallery of St. Patrick's RC, Charleston, SC, through arrangements with the Diocese of Charleston. It was never erected at St. Patrick's. The organ was badly damaged while stored and eventually was removed from the church by J. Allen Farmer of Winston-Salem, NC. The parts were used by Farmer. I was a volunteer on the Organ Clearing House crew that removed the organ from the Virginia church and stored it in the gallery at St. Patrick's. Alan Laufman led the crew whose other members I don't recall except that Larry Trupiano assisted in loading the organ into St. Patrick's while working on another project in South Carolina.
