Updated through online information from Steve Bartley.
A second entry in the Sun paper June 19 1852 pg4, concerning the Berger organ for Ascension, goes on to say...a magnificent instrument, which will exhibit the details of Grecian architecture, measuring 14 feet high,10 feet wide and 7 feet deep. It will contain all the brilliant stops , and constructed of the best materials. The congregation built a new building, on Lafayette Square, in 1867, the old building was sold, and used by various congregations until it was plowed under by University of Maryland, in the first half of the 20th century
This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by Jim Lewis, using information found in Baltimore Sun January 5, 1853.
