According to the purchase agreement (July 1938), Casavant was to install the organ by December 18, 1938 (only five months later) at a cost of $16,000. Casavant reused almost all of the 1909 Warren pipework on new windchests; compasses were expanded to 68 notes (manuals) and 32 notes (pedal). The Wadsworth facade was moved forward by two feet to accommodate the enlarged instrument.
In 2012, Orgues Létourneau restored the organ, and updated the Casavant console.
Identified through information in Casavant documents, courtesy of Simon Couture and Denis Blaine. The tonal director was Stephen Stoot.
