The organ was named the Newberry Organ as a memorial to the generosity and artistic vision of Elizabeth "Betty Hitchcock Rose (1915-2013). The instrument replaces an Aeolian-Skinner antiphonal organ [Opus 844-A] installed in 1959 and dedicated to the memory of Betty-s grandparents Henry Strong Newberry (1850-1913) and Elizabeth Britton Newberry (1855-1942). --from church web site
