Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. -- A new organ by the Hook-Hastings Co., the stock model 2-7 instrument was increased by one stop on a tubular-pneumatic chest, most likely by the original builder prior to delivery. To facilitate the installation of this organ, the chancel was rebuilt in ecclesiastical style to accommodate the instrument which was too large for the rear gallery, and the choir was moved forward from the rear gallery. The original organ, an 1849 one-manual Giles Beach remained neglected in the gallery until it was acquired by the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown in 1964.
Altered.
