From Nebraska Institute for the Blind, Nebraska City, NE in 1950's. Altered Degner & Gruenke 1963. Some pipes from monastery in Pueblo, CO. Besides the water and heat damage, the organ has been considerably vandalized by the blind children who apparently heard that the organ was ruined. They broke all the pedal trackers and ruined as many great pipes as they could reach.Moved in 1963 to Chadron. Mechanical and tonal restoration, limited to the existing pipework. The swell pipework became the great, and the great became the positiv.
