Paul R. Marchesano on September 24th, 2025:

My understanding is that this 1890 Geo Jardine & Sons organ was of course hand-pumped when new, but had an electric blower added when it was moved from the original St. Andrew's wooden church building to what is now called Baldwin Hall, attached to the School. The last service in the wooden church was January 6, 1901. The new stone hall was opened in 1904. So obviously some organ concern was involved in adding the blower and removing the handles of the hand pump (for which there was no room on the stage in the new location) but the organ was not otherwise altered.

Updated through online information from Frank W. Fitzgerald. -- Funds were donated in 2010 to have David Storey, of Baltimore, make simple repairs to make the organ playable. Repairs were completed in 2011. The wooden Orgoblo blower was kept, but replaced with a modern blower.
