Altered and relocated existing organ. Identified by Mark Kieffer, using information found in Dedication Bulletin in church archive.

The provenence of this organ is puzzling. Some church publications say that the organ was originally installed in the Rivoli Theater in New York City in 1917 as Austin Op. 709. That organ was removed in 1924 and replaced with a Wurlitzer. Austin Op. 709 is listed in this database as having been moved to the John Lindgren residence in Minneapolis.

The organ described above which was at Central from 1927-1963 was an Austin purchased from somewhere, moved, altered and installed in Central Lutheran's new sanctuary in Minneapolis by Harry Iverson in the winter of 1927-1928.
