from the original contract dated May 14, 1897, cost $2000. See DOCUMENTS tab for complete document: Note Stops marked X to be supplied by a leading English /London/ Pipe Maker and Voicer. The quality of tone of the highest quality. The case to be of polished oak, having two fronts. The speaking front pipes to be illuminated in gold and silver leaf and colors in an artistic & chaste manner. Guarantee The organ is guaranteed by us for _10_ ten years from defects arising from the use of inferior material or wokrmanship, ordinary wear and tear excepted. The organ to kept in tune and good order for one year free of charge. Edward Lye & Sons Organ was promised to be complete and installed by 1 October 1897
