Paul R. Marchesano on October 9th, 2020:

The Bates & Culley firm was formed in 1895, thus this organ either was built later than 1886 or was not originally built by Bates & Culley.

Database Manager on September 21st, 2016:

Altered and relocated existing organ.
Identified by Molly Carnes, based on information learned from a conversation with
Celeste Booker.

The organ was restored in 1992 with a few alterations: a high-speed plowed motor was installed on the wind chest; 1 1/3 mixture IV (244 pipes); 8' trumpet (great); 4' principal (pedal). The pipes were repainted to match the original paint and design.
