The organ utilized Redwood Bourdon pipes in the 16' octave as was common up until ca. 1923.
The free-standing swell boxes were installed in their own chambers at house-left and house-right at the front of the auditorium. The organ was a "stock" Style F.
This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by William Dunklin, citing information from this publication: The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History by David Junchen p.634.
Wurlitzer opus 569 is a Style F installed here in freestanding "boxes" rather than chambers. In 1927 the Whiteside Theatre suffered a fire and was extensively renovated. Wurlitzer moved opus 569 to the Liberty Theatre in Lewiston, Idaho, and a new Wurlitzer, opus 1897 was installed in the Whiteside Theatre.
