Database Manager on May 24th, 2017:
This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by James R. Stettner, listing this web site as a source of information: http://www.thediapason.com/classified/2mp-tellers-pipe-organ.
The organ is freestanding with all of the pipework exposed in a symmetrical display. The tonal resources are a 4'/2' Principal, a 16-8-4-2 Flute unit that begins as stopped wood, moved to capped metal, becomes a chimney flute, and ends with open metal trebles; a tapered 2-2/3' Nasat, and a 13-note, III-rank Mixture which repeats every octave. When Dr. Boeringer passed-away in 2014, the organ (along with another in the residence) were made available for sale. The Tellers is now located at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church & University Parish in Baltimore, MD.
