The organ was dedicated on Sunday, May 2, 2010, with a recital played by Mark Dwyer, Organist/Choirmaster of The Church of the Advent, Boston.
This organ was built by Casavant in 1974 for St. John's Episcopal Church, Worcester, Massachusetts. When that congregation closed in 2009, the organ was moved by Southfield Organ Builders to St. Michael's on-the-Heights Episcopal Church, Worcester. The Casavant originally had two manuals, 21 ranks.
