Scot Huntington on November 2nd, 2020:
The large organ planned by Gilbert Adams for Grace Episcopal Church, Utica, NY in 1974 was never completed nor fully functional. Less than 10 years after it was begun, it was replaced with a new Holtkamp and the Adams organ was parted out-- the best of the remaining material was recycled into a new instrument for Christ Church, Cooperstown. The new console was custom-built by Austin. The surprisingly pleasant 4-stop Antiphonal organ added at the rear of the church by Barlow during his 1960s expansion of the Odell was retained. The chamade trumpet was added more recently.
