Database Manager on August 14th, 2017:
Originally built for First Church of Christ, Scientist, Columbus, Ohio. When that congregation sold their downtown building in 2014, the organ was relocated by Muller Pipe Organ Company to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Muller provided new mechanism, and updated the Austin console with a Peterson ICS-4000 operating system. Three new stops were included: a 44-note Pedal Bourdon; a 12-note extension to the Swell 8' Oboe to provide a unit 16' Bassoon; and a 61-note 8' Festival Trumpet. The new organ was installed behind the existing William King case; the original façade pipes were re-stenciled by Russell Design of Kokomo, Indiana.
