Updated through online information from Randall E. Karstens [October 27, 2025]: I am in care of the instrument and it is extant and playable.
Updated by Matthew Penning, who has heard or played the organ.
Originally built in 1971 for Clapp Recital Hall, University of Iowa, Iowa City. Clapp Recital Hall was severely damaged in 2008 flooding and was condemned; the organ itself escaped damaged. The demolition company was unsuccessful in selling the organ. St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Coralville, Iowa, expressed an interest in the organ and hoped the contractor would donate the organ if not sold. Ultimately, the organ was donated to St. Andrew's. Dobson Pipe Organ Builders removed the organ and stored in their workshop. The organ will be reinstalled in the sanctuary of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church upon completion of their new facility in 2015.
Dobson began installing the organ in October 2017.
