The congregation gathered in 1897. The congregation purchased property for a new building in 1958, and the present structure was constructed in 1968. What became of the original building and 1911 Hillgreen organ is unknown.

Contract signed January 12, 1911, and organ accepted July 13, 1911; cost $2,200.00. Builder agreed to pay church organist J. Warren Andrews not to exceed $63.00 to perform dedication recital. Organist Andrews also drew up the specification. Spencer Orgo-blo provided.
