The George Reed organ was installed second-hand in Christ Lutheran Church, West Boylston, Mass. in 1999 where it replaced a second-hand one-manual Reuben Midmer that was moved to Turners Falls, Mass. When Christ Lutheran closed and the building sold in 2019, the Hutchings was moved without alteration to this church, making it the second organ in Turners Falls relocated from the same church in West Boylston.
This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes.
Identified by Henry Gaida, who has heard or played the organ.
