Database Manager on June 13th, 2019:

This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.

Identified by Edmond Johnson, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Sean Coburn O'Neal and Zach Neufeld.

The original installation by Hermann Schlicker was installed after the church's previous building and organ burned in an arson fire on Halloween. Consultant for the organ was Raymond Boese of the University of Redlands who also did the dedicatory recital. As originally installed, the entire Positiv was prepared as was the Swell Celeste, the Pedal Metal Gedackt and Schalmei. The 2' Nachthorn was originally on the Swell as was the IV Mixture. Additions were by Manuel Rosales.
