The Solo division was moved to a new chamber above the chancel, and increased to 31 ranks. Also installed in this chamber were the Pedal Bombardes, Contra Bourdon, and Pedal V Mixture. Another new chamber was built above the ceiling to house a new String division of 18 ranks. A new Celestial division also of 18 ranks was installed in the gallery chamber where the Solo had been previously installed.
