Timothy Peter Remsen on May 11th, 2023:
The Angell organ at Saint Anthony's was barely playable in 1974 when my father arrived as director of music. The organ was replaced in stages with the Roche Organ company replacing the Great division in 1987 . Gilbert Adams supplied the rebuild the slider chest from his organ of 1976 at Grace Church in Utica New York as well as new and revoiced pipework. Adams revoiced much of the Great division as well. The console was also replaced with an organ supply console. Sometime after my fathers departure in 1995 several ranks of pipework were ruined by amateurs.
