This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Andrew Henderson on February 17th, 2022:

Two contracts exist for this instrument: the first dated November 23, 1905, and the second dated December 26. Both were signed by Frank Lalor, a prominent parishioner who donated the organ in memory of his son, Budd Lalor. The primary difference between contracts is that the manual compass was extended from 58 notes to 61 notes, and the second contract also has an addendum adding the Swell Open Diapason and enlarging the nave organ case for an additional sum of $135, making the total cost of the organ $1435. From the contract: "Cases of special design of oak finely finished and to have two fronts, one in chancel 10 ft x 17 high, one facing the namve 7 ft wide x 14 high. Front pipes to be richly decorated in gold."

Andrew Henderson on April 27th, 2020:

This instrument was substantially rebuilt and incoporated into Casavant Frères Opus 1850 (1946).
