Andrew Henderson on May 27th, 2020:

It is presumed that this instrument was built by S. R. Warren & Sons, although contemporary sources do not mention the name of the builder following the reconstruction of the church following a fire in 1875. In comparison with another S. R. Warren & Sons instrument in the city, installed in 1876 at Welland Avenue Methodist Church in St. Catharines, Ontario, it would appear that these instruments were almost identical. This instrument was replaced by Casavant Frères, Opus 383 in 1909.
