from Der Deutsche Correspondent (Baltimore, MD.) August 1, 1872 pg. 4 - Included in an article, mostly about the installation of a Baltimore organ, by Pomplitz, are several soon to be completed organs, including Grace Methodist Lafayette Indiana 26 Registers, cost = $4500
A history of the church, found on their current web site, verifies that Pomplitz built an organ for the then new 1873 church, and photos show a Gothic organ facade which appears to be mid 19th century, front-center of the church.
