Thurlow B. Weed on October 12th, 2020:
From the church's website: " 'The organ was purchased in 1950; these ladies are very ambitious having practically all of the money for the present organ and hoping to complete the rest in two or three years'." In January 1951 Wick quoted $769 for grilles, but in the end these were puchased locally. The organ was dfelivered on March 30, 1951, but by May 5 it was still impossible to install it because of 'defeective radiant heating system' in the new building. On May 22 the church's Treasurer wrote that ' ... construction of the church has been held up because of a strike at the stone quarry ...' The installation was finally completed in October 1951."
