The building was originally a German Evangelical Lutheran congregation. It then changed hands to a Latvian congregation of unknown affiliation before becoming Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. The organ was made available on ebay in 2001, and acquired by Christ Episcopal Church in Eastport, Maine where it was restored by Timothy Smith and installed in 2002.
