Organ Restoration project has been taken on by the Chicago Chapter of the American Theater Organ Society. Multiple volunteers are working as much as possible to get Betty speaking like new again.


Christian Schoop on August 16th, 2023:

Organ is no longer abandoned, but is in very bad condition. Lots of dead notes and air leaks.


Jim Stettner on March 6th, 2021:

This organ contains the remains of the 1927 Barton originally built for the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee and later installed in Cicero's Pizza in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota (ca. 1975-1980). It was placed in storage and suffered from a fire before being relocated here.
