This instrument was designated Job. No. 8435, and was new unit organ built installed at the rear of the chapel in the newly-constructed (1963) extension. Architecturally notable with outstanding acoustics and impressive stained glass, this organ is a well-kept secret, tonally one of the finer organs in the city. EVen though only a unit organ, this is an instance where everything magically aligned-- scaling, voicing, placement, and acoustics. The organ is unenclosed in a functional display, with a 12-pipe Subbass extension of the Gedackt instead of the Townhouse integrated pedal-pipe modules typically provided for their unit organs in smaller settings. The ranks are (from distant memory so potentially inaccurate): Gedackt 16', Principal 8', Quintadena 8', Rohrflote 4', Gemshorn 2' (?), Mixture II.
