Jim Stettner on July 1st, 2025:
The preceding note about Cannarsa removing the organ is errant. An Open House program from March 2, 2014 for the Wicks organ rebuilt by Parsons Organ Builders for St. John of Rochester Roman Catholic Church in Fairport, NY. states, "The organ was disassembled in February, 2014 and transported to our shop."

Kevin M. Clemens on April 16th, 2024:
The 1968 Wicks Organ is no longer in this building. Cannarsa Pipe Organs removed the instrument and sold it to another church when the United Methodist Church disbanded.

Jeff Scofield on April 16th, 2021:
After a one-time high of 1,700 members, the church closed in June 2011 with the few remaining members joining Jaggard UMC to form First Jaggard United Methodist Church. The 1907 First Church facilities were sold to Center City Church and re-dedicated by them in November 2020.
