When the College failed to pay arrears of $48,600 to the builder, David Miron, after he requested through an attorney the College terminated the contract with the balance unpaid. They then went to the original donor and secured a gift to purchase a 2-manual Visser-Rowland. All of the Austin op. 58 materials that the builder (Miron) was unable to remove from the premises by 3 days after the contract termination were destroyed by Pieter Visser, including pipework and the uniquely-historical Austin windchests that were a transitional design prior to their making the standard design they now use. Condition and extancy of the Visser-Rowland is unkown; it is not listed in their opus list, but existed as of 2003.
