Database Manager on November 27th, 2009:

Updated through on-line information from John Gouwens. -- Organ was restored by Rutz; original action was beyond restoration, so rebuilt as a (very heavy) tracker action. Stop action is electrified (but, alas, very sluggish) sliders, no combination. Church itself is in some jeopardy, leaving the future of this organ in some question.

Database Manager on October 30th, 2004:

Fox shows this as Opus 506 from Church of the Messiah, Unitarian, Chicago, IL (3-26), one rank altered. In danger. was on list as #507, which was a 2-15 built for First Presbyterian, Decatur, IL. The former is probably correct as the Decatur organ is marked butchered one version of the Roosevelt list.
