Jeff Scofield on September 7th, 2021:
The congregation broke from the United Methodist Church and became a non-denominational church at another location; the building remained the property of the local UMC conference; it was reported that "the unused church has fallen into disrepair, with plaster falling off walls, a heating system that needs replacing, and a malfunctioning pipe organ, but the historic structure with its hand-hewn beams and pews remains intact. " It was sold to a Korean congregation [Church of the Lord] in Orangeburg, New York, in December 2019 for $2.1 million; the organ is believed to have been removed.
