Updated through online information from Steve Bartley (May 14, 2025): From The Virginian-Pilot Aug. 23, 1881 & Nov. 13, 1881 - Church services held in lecture room while gallery is enlarged. A fire in the Roosevelt NY factory destroyed the organ being built for this church. Adam Stein, of Baltimore was in St. Paul's over seeing the installation of the new organ. Stein ran the Baltimore branch of the Roosevelt firm and was building organs from his Baltimore shop. Possibly the St. Paul's organ was also built in Baltimore.
