"[In 1883] Mr. Camp reported that a pipe organ was being replaced in a city church and the old organ was for sale, so the Building Committee was asked to examine it and, if advisable, to purchase it at a price not to exceed $500."
"Report of Building Committee of Methodist Church of Canada in Smithville - 1889:
Amounts paid for furnishings inside church: ... Walter Spencer for organ ... $500"
